Zimbabwe - Rhodesian Tapestry

This site shows beautiful tapestry panels embroidered by the Women's Institutes of Rhodesia to depict the history, people and places of that country, accompanied by descriptive text. It is based on a book which is no longer available.

This is the history of a country about which few people are aware, a country which no longer exists, as it is now called Zimbabwe and is a very different place! I have found nothing on the internet which depicts so much about the life and times of people in Rhodesia in such an interesting manner, and feel that this is valuable content which should be shared.
