AWARD PROGRAM

We want to award outstanding websites, sites with excellent design or a lot of valuable information - or even better, websites that shine above the rest in both areas. We would like to visit sites with style and value, sites which show the talent and the creativity of the creator. Our standards are rather high. It will not be easy to earn one of our awards.

On the following pages you will be guided through our program. We ask you read the Criteria and Conditions carefully before you apply.

We will visit your site as soon as possible. However, depending on the number of applications it can take up to two weeks. Winners and non-winners will be notified. If you win one of our awards you don't have to link it back to us, but it would be appreciated.

 

TWO CHANCES

From time to time we discover sites on the Internet that leave us in awe because of their extraordinary design, impressive masterpieces of real artists. These websites focus on visual appeal, and very often there is not much content or information.

On the other hand, there are sites with excellent content that is well researched and structured and presented in an agreeable way. These sites use graphics, too, but they are not the centre of attraction.

Very rarely can sites be found that excel in both areas. That is why we decided to offer two sets of awards of equal value:

A special feature of the DandieOnline Award Program: Successful applicants have another chance to earn a second award after a waiting period of 30 days. This means you can apply for the DandieStar TopInfo if you have already got the DandieStar Design or vice versa.

Irrespective of an application for the TopInfo- or Design-Award applicants get the chance to win the

Dandie GoldenStar

if the applicant's website is perfect in both: content and design.

If the jury is convinced that the applying website deserves the top-rating of three stars even for a category which the site did not apply for, it can honor the website with the highest award - the Dandie GoldenStar - as an acknowledgement of being superb in design as well as content.
