German Open 2001Rules of Competition 2002

 

1. Right of Participation:
Each Dandie Dinmont Terrier nominated and shown on CACIB and CAC exhibitions (FCI) in Germany will take part in this international competition.
Exemption: Puppy Class, Honorary Class and Veteran Class.

2. Points to Get:
Each of the Dandies in the first place having achieved the qualification "Vorzüglich" ("Excellent") will get a point, additional points may be earned for each further success in the competition as per Table of Points below. In one Exhibition there may be collected up to eight points for each of the Dandies shown.

3. Junior Class:
The valuing for the Best Junior Dog of the Year will be based on the victories of the Junior Class exclusively. For a junior dog when competing for the "Dandie of the Year" three victories won in the Junior Class will be considered whereas the further victories have to be won in the grown-ups classes.

4. Kennel-Award:
Every kennel will receive for each active participation in German CACIB- and CAC-Shows:

  • 2 points - for every Dandie out of one's own breeding and one's ownership or co-ownership.
  • 2 points - for every Dandie in ownership of the kennel, however having a different kennel name.
  • 1 point - for every Dandie out of one's own breeding, however owned by another person.

5. Intermediate Valuation:
DandieOnline will publish the intermediate values of the competition continuously. Please inform the editing team as soon as possible when discovering any discrepancies.

6. Final Valuation:
The last Exhibition of the year having closed the best eight results will determined out of all shows visited.

  • Example 1
    A Dandie has been shown for 12 times: His best eight results will be considered for the final valuation.
  • Example2
    A Dandie has been shown for 5 times: All the 5 results will be considered for the final valuation.

7. Parity of Points:
In case of parity of points the ninth and perhaps further valuations will be considered - as long as the Dandie Dinmont Terrier having the highest score is found.

8. Awards:
The winners of the competitions will be published in DandieOnline at the end of the year. As far as cups are concerned they will on demand be posted by return and will definitely be owned by the winners.

9. Legal Procedure:
The owners of the winning Dandie Dinmont Terriers by receiving the donation acknowledge the Rules of Competition. No appeal is admitted.
