Deine Webpräsentation über den schottischen Dandie Dinmont Terrier gehört wohl mit zu den besten und professionellsten Tierseiten im WWW.

In "Dandie Online" findet der Besucher, egal ob Hundebesitzer, Tierfreund oder Laie alles über diese kleine robuste Hunderasse.

Die einzelnen Kapitel sind inhaltlich gut aufbereitet und klar durchstrukturiert. Besucher Deiner Seiten werden sowohl von einer Fülle an Informationen über Herkunft, Zucht, Standards und Ausstellungen als auch von den vielen schönen Fotos in der Galerie in den Bann gezogen.

Das Design präsentiert sich eher schlicht, aber optisch ansprechend und sehr harmonisch. Dazu tragen die selbstgestalteten, dreieckigen Buttons und die Fotos, die sich weich von dem Hintergrund abheben sicherlich einiges bei.

Die Anordnung von Bild und Text auf den einzelnen Seiten lassen das Layout sehr professioniell aussehen.

Die Navigation ist gut organisiert und die Ladezeiten, auch in der Galerie recht schnell. Internationale Besucher können sich von der englischen Version Deiner Seiten fesseln lassen.

Alles in allem zeichnet sich "DandieOnline" durch viel Charme und Persönlichkeit aus. Man sieht Deinen Seiten an, daß sie mit viel Liebe zum Detail und unter großem Zeitaufwand hergestellt wurden und werden. Alles in allem ein gelungener Webauftritt.

The site is simple, clean and easy to read. The colors, text and graphics work well together to form a nice layout.

The site provides very useful information on the Dandie Dinmont Terriers.There is also a large amount of pictures and paintings of the breed that arevery interesting. I am unclear if the applicant is the photographer or the painter of the art work, but if so, it would impact the award greatly. I am supposing that they are just collected.

Functionality:(4)
I found the site easy to navigate, but I never enjoy being separated from the menu. It is nice that you provide a return at the bottom of the page, but this forces me to use my browser button or scroll through the entire page. You have a very nicely designed menu, so I would suggest incorporatingn it into a frame.

Appeal:(4)
Web users that are seeking information a this particular breed of terrier will find valuable information at this site. It is also useful for people that just enjoy viewing lovely pictures of dogs or want to connect with other terrier owners. I appreciate your time and energy in creating this web site for the Internet.

This highly detailed site is an encylopedia of Terrier breeding, showing,
exhibitions, news and reports, presented with typical Teutonic care and detail.

A few site pages need a bit of scrolling to get back to the navigation, but the topics dictated that they all be kept together. I have the same problem on a few of my own pages. The pages are crammed with an immense amount of rather small detailed text, but judicious use of white space, design and custom graphics makes the site a pleasure to load and view, even on a small 486 computer.

That's what it's all about folks -- getting content out there to the
largest number of viewers possible. Well done, and an award is attached. The TPC Award of Excellence has been rated 2.5 (I hope to expand the purpose and criteria.) by Focus Award Sites since November 29, 2000 and this is the first example, expressed in the rating and serial number personalization.

The presentations and layout of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier award section and citations (laudatio) is also not to be missed even if you don't care about the main topic. This is an extreme example of what you could do yourselves, even though it shouldn't affect site judging. I checked it some weeks earlier when Iwas comparing award presentation in several highly awarded sites. Just plopping unassociated award images on a page does a disservice to the awarding site and you won't see that here.
