The Dandie Dinmont Terrier in Sweden

We unfortunately do not know the history and development of the breed Dandie Dinmont Terrier in Sweden - despite the fact that Sweden plays an important part in Europe though there is a relatively small population of Dandies.

1990 Jonas Wiborg wrote a book on Dandies and had it published under the title TERRIERNA FRAN CHARLIESHOPE .

Unfortunately this book is completely written in Swedish, so up to now we did not succeed in getting from it any information on the history and the breeding of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier in Sweden.

We would be very glad if we could offer a history of the Dandie in Sweden at a future point of time.

We would of course be pleased if Swedish Dandie lovers being active breeders at present would contact us for reasons of exchange of thoughts and information.
