Unfortunately, the history and the development of the breed Dandie Dinmont Terrier is not known to us, and to our deep regret we do not have any detailed information.

Therefore, we have - more or less - to restrict to pass on to you information on the Clubs and Associations known to us. In the further course of the pages on Russia you will find contacts to breeders. We do hope we can report more in the near future.

As far is we are informed there are Dandie Dinmont Terriers living in Russia. They have been bred over there, and Dandie Dinmont Terriers are exhibited in shows, too. Lately successfully also in western Europe.
