| The Finnish Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club
Though the Finnish Dandie friends have co-operated already for many years, the Club has officially been founded only in 1995 (and in 1996 registered). At present there are about sixty members all over Finland. The Club issues twice a year a magazine in Finnish under the name of "DDT". The first issue of 1999 listed all entries, show results as well as criteria and information referring to health a.o. of the last two years. It is intended to publish the first issue of a year as annual with all official results and information of the passed year. Further material such as stories from members, photos, a.o., are always welcome. Furthermore
the members receive a quarterly magazine "Terrilife" that shows a special
column for and on Dandies as well. "Terrilife" is a publication of the
Finnish Terrier Association In connection with an international dog show the DDT performs a Dandie-Day every year in Summer. This day is meant for all Dandie friends. Furthermore the Club grants several trophies at different performances yearly. And additionally the title of "Dandie of the Year" is granted to honour the most successful Dandie Dinmont Terrier of a year. Membership
fee is FIM 100 for regular members and FIM 60 for family members (as per 2000).
