The
Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club of America, Inc. (DDTCA), founded in 1938,
consists of responsible breeders, exhibitors, and fanciers, to protect
and promote the interests of the breed.
It is the aim of the DDTCA to develop and promote the genuine breeding
of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier as well as to perfect their natural qualities.
Specialty
Shows are held according to the rules of the American Kennel Club and
sporting competitions take place during Dog Shows.
The members
are to accept the Breed Standards as the only rules to judge Dandie Dinmont
Terriers as adopted by the Club and approved by the American Kennel Club.
Breeding and keeping should be effected as per the Code of Ethics of the
Clubs.
