Dandie Dinmont Terrier - Kennel - "German Dandies'"

Animals have always been kept, cared of and bred with the Rosenbaums'. In the age of only six years, Manfred brought home his first pet-fish. Later on other animals were to follow.

With times passing by, the main interest moved to aquariums and then to breeding parrots, standard parakeets and finches. For many years Manfred Rosenbaum was a judge in breeding and chairman of the judges with the associations AZ and DSV. He is especially interested in genetics and inheritance.

In 1983 Monika and Manfred Rosenbaum got their first Dandie Dinmont Terrier and in 1984 they started hobby breeding under the name of German Dandies'. Dogs coming from this kennel have become World Champion for twelve times and won numerous valuable titles in 18 different countries, as well as far more than 150 championships. German Dandies', in the history of breeding Dandies in Germany, is the most successful kennel of Dandie Dinmont Terriers in Germany.

German Dandies' Earl of Speedy

The most successful Dandie of this kennel is Ch.German Dandies' Earl of Speedy.

In his extraordinary career Speedy did not only win 21 international titles as a Champion, but he became also World Champion for three times. Furthermore, he was entered in the edition issued in German language of the Guinness Book of Records as the Most Successful Dog of the World.

Grooming Studio Monika Rosenbaum

Since a couple of years Monika Rosenbaum is maintaining a Studio for Grooming Dogs in Wuppertal-Barmen, being open to all breeds.

Professional hair care by trimming, cutting and clipping, as well as bathing, care of claws and ears are part of the alround offer.

Particular specialty is the hand trimming coming up to the breed standards of Terriers.
