Crosby and Paul Win National "LOOK-A-LIKE"
Competition
Crosby the Dandie Dinmont Terrier
and his Owner Paul Keevil look so
much like each other that they have won a national competition to confirm
the fact.
Following a nation-wide search among Britain's dogs and their owners,
the couple, from Surrey were deemed to look more like each other than
any other pet and owner.
"Many of the entries had tried to look like each other, with obvious
and unnatural effort." said a spokesman for the organisers "Dogs
Today" magazine. "The judges were struck by the fact
that Paul and Crosby do uncannily look like each other without really
trying."
Crosby and his look-a-like owner will now feature on a nationally distributed
calendar for 2001. When asked for his reaction to their win, Paul commented,
"Well it could be worse I suppose, I could have owned a Vietnamese
Pot Bellied Pig!"
Crosby was unavailable for comment.
