DANDIE OF THE YEAR
DandieOnline Award

DandieOnline has decided to invite for the following contests, taking place every year and beginning in 2000:

DANDIE OF THE YEAR - the DandieOnline Award,

BEST OPPOSITE SEX - the German Dandies' Trophy,
BEST PUPPY OF THE YEAR - the Dandie Forever Trophy,
KENNEL AWARD - for the most active Kennels.

All the Dandie Dinmont Terriers will take part that are exhibited on German CAC- and CACIB-Shows. No separate application is needed. Like in Great Britain, Sweden and Finland points will be given for results achieved.

Apart from thus honouring the "DANDIE OF THE YEAR" and the "BEST OPPOSITE SEX" DandieOnline wants to do honour to the best young dog of the year awarding the "BEST PUPPY OF THE YEAR"; the "KENNEL AWARD" will be given to the most active kennel of that year.

Every Dandie may achieve points on every exhibition. Up to the best eight results will be counted. There will be ascertained all points a Dandie might have achieved by taking part in any German show. The last exhibition of a year having closed the "DANDIE OF THE YEAR" and the other winners will be published in a list of the ten most successful Dandies of that year together with the final score of the KENNEL AWARD.

The contest will start on January 23rd, 2000, with the first KfT Special Breed Show of the Velbert Local Branch.

Millennium Celebration
Importent Notice

DandieOnline has just now been informed that the Millenium Celebration, Kelso, will definitely not take place.

Mr. Geoffrey Barrett stated as one reason among others that there were difficulties not to be expected with accommodation on the site.

We want to thank for the worldwide notification we have found since our beginning in February 99.
