Hello Manfred,

first of all congratulations to your very fine and extremely interesting homepage. I must admit, when I visited your site for the first time I had been rather sceptical; I thought, well that all is looking quite nice but once again that will not be worth to win an award. That had been my first thoughts and I had to revise them within short.

I am pleased to present you the cOnfusion aWard in Gold my highest decoration. A hearty congratulation.

What had definitely induced me ;-), I would like to express in a few words or so.

The first reason is your design. It is unobtrusive and does not tend to be in the foreground. With this you have had the right feeling for it in very good harmony with the content of the page.

And with this we come to the second reason and the real reason for my granting - the content.

"What on earth is a Dandie?" I thought by myself when I read the title on the starting page - and then "Well, there certainly will be one or two pages on dogs ..."

Here it becomes once again evident that you quickly you may be misled. Your content - the complexity and the nearly affectionate kind you are writing on these little dogs had filled me with enthusiasm more and more and put its spell on me. I would like once more point out that really none of the pages is somewhat of boring; the contrary is the truth, maybe because you have put pictures - with skill and knowledge - to the text every now and then.

Apart from the far more than detailed and informative part there is a beautiful gallery and even some humorous pages.

Concerning the technical side there too is nothing to complain about, the navigation is simple and you really go not miss frames. The performance is without unobjectionable even with 800x600 pixels. And as a bonus all is bilingual.

Dandie Online is a web site that is simply top all around and shows no weak points. Dear Manfred, you really have deserved the golden cOnfusion aWard.

One Thing is sure, if one day my daughter should long for a dog then only a Dandie Dinmont Terrier will be on the short list :-)
