The aims of the SDDTC are multiple:

The promotion of keeping, breeding and showing the genuine type of a true-bred Dandie Dinmont Terrier as per the Standards of the Kennel Club and the breeding regulations.

Promoting a spirit of friendship and sportsmanship among the fanciers of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier. Promoting shows and guarantee of fixed classes, arranging of Challenge Cups and other competitions as well as all further shows the Committee might conclude from time to time..

Promoting the public interest in this breed by all means the Committee might think to be desirable.

The annual fee for members in UK is £ 5,00 a year for single memberships and £ 7,00 for families, for members in Europe £ 8,00, of USA/Canada/South America £ 9,00, and of Australia/New Zealand £ 11,00. Included is the subscription of the "Dandie Lines" annually published in Spring.
